Responsibilities

Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses of lab data for our drug discovery
pipelines with the assistance of developed artificial intelligence (AI) empowered
platform. Write technical papers and reports. Prepare standards and specifications for
operational protocols of drug discovery platform. Coordinate operations of company’s
medchem lab. Coordinate the drug discovery projects within with outsourcing researchers
and in house researchers. Collaborate with computation department to improve the
efficiency, scalability and precision of our drug-discovery platform.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering required, and 1 year of
experience in a position involving AI drug discovery management or research required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, evaluate and implement well-controlled biochemical and cell-based assays to address target biology and drug biology.
  • Perform pharmacodynamic and efficacy studies of lead compounds in animal models.
  • Generate new cell line models to address project needs.
  • Organize and present scientific data at group and project team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized records and laboratory notebook.
  • Oversee lab inventory of supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

Position will be hired based on level of experience.

  • MS or BS with more than 2 years of research experience in the field of cancer biology, cell biology or related.
  • Previous experience in drug discovery, either in an academic or industry setting, is preferred. In vivo experience with mouse tumor models is a plus.
  • High degree of proficiency in standard biochemical, cellular, and molecular biology techniques is required (transfection, ELISA, cell-based assays, immunoblotting, aseptic cell culture, cloning, etc.).
  • Proven ability to work independently and design experiments, trouble shoot, interpret and report data back to teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for executing innovative scientific research.

  • Experience in isolating, phenotyping, and manipulating primary human and murine cells in vitro and ex vivo. Experience with in vivo models of tumor biology is preferred.
  • Experience with immune cell manipulations, such as in vitro proliferation, differentiation, suppression, cytotoxicity, and co-culture assays.
  • Broad technical knowledge and mastery of immunologically based cell and molecular assays, and downstream analysis, such as qPCR, quantitative western blotting, flow cytometry-based assays, Luminex/MSD, ELISPOT.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate and troubleshoot to solve problems.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join our full-stack engineering team. The team is responsible for developing cloud infrastructure to empower our internal software and algorithms in the drug discovery field. The team develops solutions ranging from web front-ends for internal algorithms and software products, to database systems managing our experimental projects and data, and complex distributed computation and job scheduling systems.
